I was honoured to be asked to support Slow Food, the Chef Alliance and the Ark of Taste as a part of the wonderful Edinburgh Food Festival this year.
Pop was born out of a dedication to share my love of food and cooking with people in their homes after many years of cooking and teaching across the world. As our business grows, we love to see many more customers show a real interest in the provanance of their food, its story and understanding why each ingredient is important in shaping a delicious dish.
My journey with food began when I was very young but has been shaped by many people whom I still count as my friends today, as well as many supporters of Slow Food; Neil Forbes, Denise Walton and Sacha Grierson to name a few. I am delighted to now share a stage with some of these wonderful people, in speading our message of food that is good, clean & fair.
I do hope that you enjoy our recipe for Crowdie tortellini with fresh black pudding, Musselburgh leeks and pear.
